Spend your summer on the Swedish west coast, in this beautiful house on the genuine fishermen's little Island, Åstol.
White fishermen's cottages in the narrow alleys and small red fishing huts welcome you in the harbor. On the large patio, the sun shines from early morning to late evening. It is well protected from wind from all directions. Enjoy the sunset over the sea from the balcony on the top floor.
Just outside the door of the house there’s a children's natural outdoors swimmingpool with a waterslide. The bottom of the pool is sand. If you're not keen to swim in the pool, either you go directly from the sun-warmed rocks or use the ladders that are posted around the entire island. There are also trampolines and rocks to jump from.
The upper floor houses three bedrooms, one with a double bed, another has two beds pushed together. The third room offers a spacious sofa bed. In a small separate cozy guest house we have two beds. It's also possible to embed in the basement for additional overnight guests. There are two toilets (the island has municipal water and sewer).
On the first floor you find a well-equipped and spacious kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a dining area for about 6 people. In the dining room, 10 people can take place without crowding and after dinner the living room offers sofas and chairs to sink into. Or why not watch the sun go down from the picturesque glass veranda, also with a small sitting area.
The island is a cozy little fishing Island with park and playground and grocery store. The Restaurant and Café along with all the boats and children's crab fishing creates a cozy atmosphere in the harbor. During summertime fresh fish and seafood is sold from local fishermen who also organizes fishing trips and seal safaris.
