Charming 1850s farmhouse for rent in Lennartsfors.

For those who want a quiet, rural and natural holiday in a summer paradise with a view of a wild water.

A short walk to a wonderful shallow beach in Lake Lelång, which is part of the Dalsland Canal.
The two-storey farmhouse has much of the original building left but has been carefully renovated.
The downstairs consists of a kitchen for self-catering with porcelain and household utensils.
Large lovely wood stove that both heats and is excellent for cooking.
Fridge with freezer compartment, electric stove, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, toaster, electric whisk, etc.
Next to the kitchen is the "Pigkammaren" which has 2 single beds.
Large living room with fireplace, sofa and dining table.
A small glass veranda with original doors and windows.
A substantial hall with double wardrobe and "cleaning scrub" under the stairs.
Toilet with shower, washbasin and Separett leisure toilet installed in 2022.
Upstairs there is a newly renovated large bedroom with double bed + single bed.

The farm is isolated and the yard invites both activities such as ball games and kubb, or quiet relaxation with birdsong and undisturbed sunbathing. The fields around the farm belong to and are cut down. Plenty of room for cars.

Wooden deck with lounge group in a wonderful west-facing location.
Sandbox, swing and trampoline for the younger guests.
Outdoor furniture, Weber charcoal grill, deck chairs, ladies' + men's bicycles, berry pickers, mushroom basket, etc. are available.
Rhubarb, chives, lettuce, currants, gooseberries, etc. grow on the farm and can be picked "as long as supplies last".
To guarantee a comfortable bathing temperature, there is a wood-fired hot tub for rent.

In the immediate vicinity there are fields abundant with berries and mushrooms in season.
There is a rich wildlife here with deer, moose, foxes, etc. that can roam around the cottage.
Both beavers and swans coexist in the wild water.
A booking fee/deposit of 1000 SEK is paid upon booking and is refunded when the cottage is left in an undamaged and clean condition. Not refundable in the event of cancellation.

Cleaning is done by the tenant according to the cleaning schedule found in the cottage or booked for an additional fee.
Bed linen and bath towels are brought by the tenant or can be rented.
No pets & non-smoking indoors.

The town of Lennartsfors is a former mill town that comes alive many times in the summer. The town is located by the lakes Stora Le/Foxen and Lelång, with a beautiful lock (built in 1865) that is the most impressive in the Dalsland canal after the aqueduct in Håverud and makes boating and tourism flourish in the summer.
Here, a lock café, restaurant Strömsborg and unique small garden cafes with homemade coffee are open.
At Bergstugan there is a small grocery store with café/restaurant and Pub.
There are craftsmen of various different products of both old and new that are open in the summer.
Big midsummer celebration at the local history museum. Dance floor with summer events. Tennis court and football field that Lennartsfors IF manages where guests can use for a voluntary Swish.
