Small modern cottage with a fantastic view of the sea. Park the bike and enjoy life some days it's vacation...
For those who prioritize rest and the sea view over large spaces. Perfect for the small family (ideally for two). Cottage of approx. 25 square meters.
Weekly price high season SEK 11,500 and low season SEK 10,500 but it is also possible to book 24 hours (minimum 2 days) SEK 1,500/d (low season only).
The essentials are available such as; 2 rooms (incl. kitchen). Kitchen connected to the balcony, toilet with shower, 2 beds (double bed 140cm). Kitchen with stove, microwave, kettle, coffee app. TV, Internet.
The cabin is a "holiday accommodation" that is rented out by a private host. Means that the tenant decides for himself whether to bring his own bed linen (under and cover sheet, pillow case, towel) and to do a final cleaning at the end. However, it is possible to get bed linen and final cleaning as an option if desired (bed linen SEK 150/piece and final cleaning SEK 1200) which is booked before check-in.
West-facing terrace complete with garden furniture, deckchairs, cushion box, parasol and barbecue. Only about 50 m to the beach. Enjoy sitting on the terrace and watching the amazing sunsets or watching the boating in the harbour.
Shared plot, which means that there is an additional cottage on the plot which is also rented out. Access after 3 pm and leave before 11 am. Animals and smoking prohibited indoors. Walk (approx. 150m) to the bathing jetty or swim south/north of Byxelkrok on outcrops. Byxelkrok is also one of the sunniest places in the country (according to SMHI's "sunniest").
Here in Byxelkrok, you can park your car and walk or cycle to bathing/services/entertainment. There are wonderful walking/cycling paths from the house, which wind along the sea or in the lush Böda forest. The northern loop of the "Ölandrunt" cycle path goes past Byxelkrok. For those who take the bus to Öland, there is a bus stop about 100m from the cottage.
The cottage is located along one of Öland's most beautiful stretches of coast, Byxelkrok is located on Öland's northernmost west coast (a gem) which in the summer lives up to an idyllic tourist resort. With a guest harbor with room for around 150 leisure boats. In Byxelkrok during the summer there are about 10 different places to eat in the form of restaurants/cafes/pubs. Also ICA shop, kiosks, galleries, small shops in the boathouses in the harbour, bicycle rental and campsites.
From the site you can see the national park "Blå Jungfrun" which is located in the middle of Kalmarsund. There are daily boat trips from Byxelkrok to the island and boat trips (high season) by car ferry to Oskarshamn.
