Our farm, Trogsta Lustgård, overlooks a breathtakingly beautiful valley in the heart of the mystical county of Hälsingland. Our guests often say that our little village, Trogsta, reminds them of Bullerbyn in the Astrid Lindgren stories. Many say that the view from the guesthouse is just like a postcard-a sweeping valley, winding brook, fields, forest and mountains– all in the same view! Many claim that they have never slept so soundly than in our old loghouse. Our guesthouse is completely renovated in the old Swedish style with warm, cheerful colours that are guaranteed to soothe your soul. It consists of a large family room, fully-equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a double-bed (160 cm), hall, and a beautiful modern bathroom with a shower. There is an adjoining private patio and yard on the backside facing south where you can enjoy the sun and the magnificent view round the clock.
The guesthouse is insulated and has both electric and floor-heating, but there is also an open fireplace for romantic evenings! In the family room, there is cosy sofa group including a large, comfy sofa-bed for 2 people, TV/dvd/CD-radio/wifi, and rocking chair. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a stove/oven, fridge, microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster, juicer, etc. We can also place an extra traveler’s bed for a 5th person.
Self-catering. Coffee/tea included. Farm-fresh eggs for breakfast that you can collect yourself are also included-as long as the “ladies” are laying! Fresh bed linen and towels on loan are also included at no extra cost. Hiking trails, golfing, fishing, rail-bike riding, horseback riding and more. We warmly welcome you here to our farm, along with our Morgan horses, a sweet Shetland pony for the children, free-range chickens, as well as our lovable cats. Our goal is to help our guests feel right at home and to do whatever we can to help them fulfill whatever type of dream holiday that they planned here in the Swedish countryside.
