The cabin has 3 rooms, of which 2 bedrooms, 4 beds, living room with open plan integrated with kitchen, wc with shower, approx. 65 sqm. Fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee app.
Other; washing machine/dryer, TV (base Telia), AC and Wifi connection. The west-facing terrace complete with garden furniture, cushion box, parasol and barbecue.
Mostly fantastic sunsets to experience from the balcony or why not sit on the sofa/armchair and watch the birds/boats pass by. Shared plot which means that there is another cottage on the plot which is also rented out. Exchange on Saturdays during high season and access after 3 pm and leave before 11 am. Pets and no smoking indoors.
Here in Byxelkrok, you can park your car and walk or cycle to bathing/services/entertainment. There are lovely walking/cycling paths from the house, which wind along the sea or in the lush Böda forest. Within cycling distance is the lovely sandy beach "Böda Sand". In addition, Byxelkrok is one of the sunniest places in the country (according to SMHI's "Sunny"). Walk (approx. 50m) to the beach and to the jetty approx. 200m or swim south/north of Byxelkrok on the rocks.
The cottage is located along one of Öland's most beautiful stretches of coast, Byxelkrok is located on Öland's northernmost west coast (a pearl) with a lively fishing village that in the summer becomes more of an idyllic tourist resort. With a guest harbor with room for around 150 leisure boats. In Byxelkrok there are about 10 different places to eat during the summer in the form of restaurants/cafes/pubs. Also ICA shops, kiosks, galleries, small shops in the sea sheds in the harbour, bicycle rental and campsites. From the site you can see the national park "Blå Jungfrun", located in the middle of Kalmarsund. There are daily boat trips from Byxelkrok to the island, also boat trips with a car ferry to Oskarshamn in high season. For those who take the bus to Öland, there is a bus stop about 50m from the cottage.
The cabin is a "holiday accommodation" that is rented out by a private host. Means that the tenant decides for himself whether to bring his own bed linen (under and cover sheet, pillow case, towel) and to do a final cleaning at the end. On the other hand, it is possible to get bed linen and final cleaning as an option if desired (downstairs SEK 150/piece and final cleaning SEK 1200) which is booked before check-in.
