Cottage with sea view
Centrally located in Byxelkrok.
The modern cottage has 5 rooms and a kitchen. Of which 3 bedrooms (one open bedroom), TV room, living room connected to the balcony, toilet with shower, approx. 65 sqm, 5 beds. Fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee app. TV (Telia basic package), AC and Wifi connection.
West-facing balcony complete with garden furniture, cushion box, parasol and barbecue. Only about 50 m to the beach. Fantastic sunsets to look forward to from the balcony or why not sit in the room and look out at the sea and the sunsets. Shared plot, which means that there is an additional cottage on the plot which is also rented out. Exchange (Sat - Sat) entry after 3pm and leave before 12pm. Animals and smoking prohibited indoors.
To swimming approx. 50m and to the beach with jetty (approx. 200m) or swimming south/north of Byxelkrok on outcrops. The lovely (1.5 mile long) sandy beach "Böda Sand" is within cycling distance. Byxelkrok is also one of the sunniest places in the country (according to SMHI's "sunniest").
Here in Byxelkrok, you can park your car and walk or cycle to bathing/services/entertainment. There are wonderful walking/cycling paths from the house, which wind along the sea or in the lush Böda forest. For those who take the bus to Öland, there is a bus stop about 100m from the cottage.
The cabin is located along one of Öland's absolutely most beautiful stretches of coast, Byxelkrok is located on Öland's northernmost west coast (a gem) with a lively fishing village that in the summer becomes more of an idyllic tourist resort. With a guest harbor with room for around 150 leisure boats. In Byxelkrok during the summer there are about 10 different places to eat in the form of restaurants/cafes/pubs. Also ICA shop, kiosks, galleries, small shops in the boathouses in the harbour, bicycle rental and campsites.
From the site you can see the "Blue Virgin" national park, which is located in the middle of Kalmarsund. There are daily boat trips from Byxelkrok to the island and boat trips by car ferry to Oskarshamn in high season.
The cabin is a "holiday accommodation" that is rented out by a private host. Means that the tenant decides for himself whether to bring his own bed linen (under and cover sheet, pillow case, towel) and to do a final cleaning at the end. On the other hand, it is possible to get bed linen and final cleaning as an option if desired (downstairs SEK 150/piece and final cleaning SEK 1500) which is booked before check-in.
