The cottages from the 18th century are built into a twin house and are located in a small church village Gärdserum, in the scenic Uknadalen about 12 km south of Åtvidaberg. Gärdserum is located in the Småland landscape and in Östergötland County.
Both cottages are equipped for self-catering with 6 beds in each cottage, divided into two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and shower room with WC,
Wifi.
About 10 minutes walk to the lake where there is a swimming area with fireplace and wind shelter.
Wood-fired sauna, simple rowing boat, fishing for own use within limited area of the lake are available for rent.
Within an hour you go to Linköping with the Air Force Museum and Old Linköping, Sankt Anna, Gryt-, Gamleby- and Västervik archipelago and many other places worth a visit.
