Bring your kayak or sup and go in right in front of the house and enjoy.
Nösund is located on western Orust. There are two bathing spots, wonderful hiking trails and a nice tennis court. A few minutes outside there are paddle courts.
In Nösund there is both Nösund Havshotell and Nösundsgården which organizes various events during the summer such.
Nearby you have the cozy old fishing community Mollösund with several restaurants but also the car-free islands Gullholmen and Käringön.
Directions:
From Gothenburg, drive the E6 towards Oslo until you reach Stenungsund, where you turn off, says Tjörn Orust. Turn right at the first roundabout and then straight ahead into the next. Follow signs for Orust. You drive over a bridge, straight ahead in the red light that comes afterwards and straight ahead in the next roundabout. Follow the road until you reach Varekil where you turn left at an Indigomack towards Ellös. Follow that road until you reach Tegneby where you turn left towards Nösund at a preemack. Follow the road until you come to Nösund and see the water. There will be a three-way intersection where you turn right and then first left - you have arrived at your summer paradise!
